Proposed changes to the National Planning Policy Framework to place greater emphasis on beauty and place-making, and to ensure that all new streets are lined with trees.

In August, the UK Government issued a Hwit Paper entitled 'Planning for the Future'. It proposes "a new system which is easier for the public to access, transforms the way communities are shaped and builds the homes this country needs.
